CoOp: Pumpkins, Seeds, & More!

Today's CoOp was a blast...Mrs. Mimi focused on pumpkins & had all sorts of activities related to pumpkins. We read about how pumpkins grow, learned about the different parts of a pumpkin such as the "ribs" and "fibrous strands" inside, we had a pumpkin seed spitting contest outside (big hit!), read another neat book about how pumpkins could be used, & we decorated pumpkin cookies with tons of icing & chocolate chips! We wrapped up our morning with Mrs. Mimi pulling out a bunch of pink balloons & everyone batting them around. So much fun!
