I am 5'2"...a shortie. When I was pregnant, I gained a lot of weight. I was just two pounds shy of 200 pounds two days before Reese was born. I was really, really heavy. I couldn't bend my fingers to make the "number 3" because my joints were so swollen. I had developed carpal tunnel in my right arm. I couldn't stand for very long because it was just so tiring.
But I still wore a bikini up to the day my water broke, because I just thought I was "pregnant in the belly".
It's only after looking back six years at the pictures from the day Reese was born that I realize just how heavy I was. It was craaaaazy!

Pregnant is cute no matter how much you weigh! and you my dear, were darling. You still are darling.
Aw, heavy or not, you're still so pretty! What a cute picture. I didn't care how I looked at all when I was pregnant...especially with the last baby...gosh, hygiene and looks went out the door and I was in survival mode! A heavier woman can survive longer than a skinny one you know!!!
I have to agree...pregnant is cute regardless of weight.
You look amazing in the 2nd picture!!!!!
Hahahahaha! This cracks me up more than I can express. I so wanted to be the cute basketball belly pregnant, but it just wasn't in the cards for me. Unlike you though I was EXTREMELY vain about the whole thing and less than a handful of pictures exist of that time and, of course, now I regret it! My stomach got so huge (I couldn't sit in a booth near the end!), but what's worse is I was retaining fluid so bad that my feet swelled up 3 more sizes. It was horrifying and you know how crazy you get when you're pregnant? Well, I thought I was just always going to be that way and was very calmly contemplating how I would live the rest of my life as a fatty. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
