He Never Thought This Day Would Arrive...

Reese's last soccer game of the season arrived, and along with it, the TROPHY! Reese has talked of little else besides his TROPHY for the past week. We had to make a paperchain to count down to the day he would get his TROPHY. Life would not be complete until Reese had his very first TROPHY!!

The day started out verrrry cold....

Reese said the YMCA pledge thingy about being a good sport.

Coach Mark asked who wanted to make the first kick...
Reese loves to break out in random dance moves during the game...
And you gotta show how tough you are to the other team...
Doing the John Travolta-Saturday-Night-Fever-Stayin'-Alive finger
Combining karate and soccer is tough, but Reese pulls it off well...

Chasing the school of fish is always fun...

Ready to throw the ball in...
It's always special when Sissy comes to watch soccer...
And sometimes you just have to do the Robot...
TOTALLY focused on the game....Thumbs up....Totally...
More running fast....
And the TROPHY!!!
Reese was so excited to have his first TROPHY,
he said he didn't want to eat his garlic bread at lunch because he didn't want to get his trophy dirty. If you know Reese, you know this child LIVES for garlic bread! Jeff snapped this shot of Reese sleeping in the car after lunch, still holding the TROPHY!

Life was good Saturday! Still is :)
