GLECPTA Membership Drive

Wednesday morning was just plain awesome! The Greater Lewisville Early Childhood PTA hosted a membership drive, & the entertainment line up was unbeatable. First was Gerva Groovie, who always comes up with creative theme-based activities. Today, all the activities were based on different Newberry Award winning books. What a neat idea! Second, we had a fun music class with KinderMusik. Towards the middle of this, Reese decided the class was "for babies" and he hung out with the Mad Scientist, who was the third part of our morning fun. Dr. Boom was Reese's favorite educator of the day...lots of cool experiments including fire, electricity, magic...what a deal! The last part of the morning was making Slime. The kids mixed it in a cup, then put a lid on it for safe keeping.

Note to self...don't forget said cup of slime in your purse upside down! It spilled all over the bottom of my purse, as well as covering the bottom of a book I'm reading. At least it's non-toxic:)
