CoOp this week was at Mrs. Holly's house, & we had a fun time with an obstacle corse she set up. We had a very informational Mom's chat about using sensory activities in our daily routines. Holly has done some great research and had lots to share with us all. I plan to incorporate many of her suggestions into Reese's daily schedule...especially the idea to throw in a physical activity every 20 minutes or so during "school time" to break up the focus time & help his brain get ready to learn again.
Bouncing a ball & counting.
Jumping over a line.
Jumping on top of the "turtle", which was this great squishy dome thing that really took some balance to stay on!
Pushing Maisy in the walker, around an obstacle, and back to the starting point.
